- This was a good book. Blaze is a cowboy and needs help so he doesn’t lose his ranch that was started by his great-grandfather. Mia is an intern that works for the firm that does Blaze’s books. She is sent to help him out so he can keep his ranch in the black. These two have undeniable chemistry and an instantaneous attraction to each other. When Mia realizes she needs to marry to get a green card, she asks Blaze. He decides that he will help her, especially, since it would help him with his investors. There’s a little suspense and two people who started out faking their relationship, but had it turning real. This was a good story and the characters were great. I loved how Blaze stood up for Mia.

- Are you ready for this romance? Ms. C. Greene has just released a beautifully crafted book revolving around an independent woman, Mia, here on a work visa and the man that certainly captured her attention, Blaze Jackson. Blaze, a single Father, as well as a Rancher, actually meets his new accountant by chance at a local bar. Although nothing physical happens, the thought was most definitely there. After a night that never was, he never expected to see her again. Imagine both of their surprise when they have to work together. These two fated characters definitely had chemistry between them and the story just takes off from there, keeping you glued from cover to cover. Wonderful Release Right Here.
I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Faking It With The Cowboy in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Greene. - I found reading this story to be rather fun, and hope that other readers will enjoy it as well.
In the book you have a single father, Blaze, who only wants what is best for his ranch and his daughter. He struggles to make the numbers come out right so the ranch is suffering. His parents have been taking care of his daughter while he has been busy with the struggle.
Enter in a foreign accountant intern, Mia, who actually loves numbers. His accountant assigned the project to her, and she manages to sort things out. She was hoping that helping with this case would give her a job for a work visa as her student visa is about to expire. One of her close friends who keeps trying to hook her up with random dates finally gave her the idea of a marriage visa would do the same, keep her in the country long enough for Mia to find a steady job. However the only person she could feel that would make it work is Blaze who they had a very strong attraction between them even though he is her client.
The marriage takes place, because being married would look good to Blaze's shareholders, however how will he keep his daughter from getting too attached to Mia? How will she show that she is more than just a show piece wife, but wants to engage her brain as well?
I found the ending to be rather enjoyable. I don't want to give any more spoilers, however I believe people will enjoy the read. I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. - i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Blaze and Mia. Blaze is a rancher who is having financial trouble and needs to find new ways to save money to hold onto the ranch. Mia is an accountant who is an intern at an accounting company that Blaze employs. When the owner of the accounting firm tells Blaze to find a wife to settle down, he doesn't think it is a good idea. Mia is given Blaze's account and goes to the ranch to meet with Blaze. When Mia gets there, she is surprised to find Blaze is the man she met a few days earlier at a bar. They work late into the evening and Blaze offers Mia a room for the night instead of her driving back into town. They have an attraction and they spend the night together. The next morning, they are woken up when An older couple bring a little girl to the ranch. Mia leaves and decides to keep things professional with Blaze. When Mia needs to marry to get a green card to stay in the US, she asks Blaze, who agrees because it would look good to his investors for him to be married. I liked this story but i found it jumped around a bit. I think Blaze and Mia were good for each other and i think they made a good couple. I wish things had of read smoother and i think it would have been even better,
- Blaze needs help with his money management skills. He's about to lose his ranch and his accountant sends Mia to help him straighten out his books and get his finances back in order.
It’s not instant chemistry between Mia and Blaze, but they both need each other in more ways than one. They get married and It's no walk in the park. Blaze seems to be missing that skill set that's endearing to Mia. He's overprotective, domineering and at some point, he not only picks out her new wardrobe, but he also can’t seem to stop telling her what to do, and charade aside, she's not too happy about that. Ultimately, Blaze gets to keep his ranch, Mia accepts a job offer three hours away and they decide to pursue a long-distance relationship while they sort things out. Blaze is also raising an adorable little girl whose wise beyond her years. Her mother’s a sore subject.
Full of intrigue, seduction and secrets, their marriage of convenience does eventually turn into lasting happiness. Thumbs up.
